Robert Quackenbush's Art Contest for Kids

Boys & Girls ages six to thirteen!

Enter this exciting Miss Mallard art contest.

Simply print out and color this picture (below) of Miss Mallard from Robert Quackenbush's book Miss Mallard's Case Book. Every month a new jury, comprised of a balance of six to thirteen-year-old students from Robert Quackenbush's after-school art classes, will vote on a winner from the younger group of entries (ages 6-9) and a winner from the older group of entries (ages 10-13) to establish one winner for the month from each age group who has entered the most original coloring of the illustration from the book in any art medium.

The story takes place in a railroad station at night in the village of Zanadoom,Transylvania. Miss Mallard, the world-famous ducktective and her nephew, Willard Widgeon of the Swiss Police, meet a flower girl named Halle Dabler, who informs them that the village is cursed. "No joy can be had in Zanadoom," she says. "It is the ancestral home of Count Kisscula - a kisspire who seeks victims to kiss when the moon is full." Good luck with your coloring of the picture from the third case in Miss Mallard's Case Book called Whistle Stop to Fear!

The winners will be notified within two weeks after each monthly contest and each winner will receive a free autographed copy of the Miss Mallard Mystery MISHAP IN KAISERSLAUTERN, published by Robert Quackenbush Studios, which will soon be launched in a sparkling, new edition by Aladdin Books of the Simon and Schuster Children's Publishing Division.
